That’s the only word I have for. I have read Gone With the Wind. The rich character development, historical detail, and exploration of complex themes such as love, survival, and resilience of this novel is what makes it compelling to read. I just love it and admire Margaret for her work.

The movie definitely matches the author s creation to the T.

I re-read it recently and I can never get the two firebrands out of my head. I recall seeing the movie as well and it was so fantastically made. I must it was one of the few adaptations that matched the depth of the book. I am overwhelmed by Scarlett, how beautifully she traverses through everything, taking each problem head on and just surging without a thought. I think the author was really ahead of her times. Awesome read.
