My Review

It’s a fast era. Everything is fast. Fast cars, fast bikes, fast phones, fast WiFi,fast channels, FAST FOOD.  While running around to make a living, we forget to live, end end up being unhappy and even depressed. Cornelia Santoro, with her book tells us how to defeat depression through food.
Once an anorexic girl, Cornelia learned the art of eating right through her various experiences and shares the same. Have you thought that if you soak the vegetables in water, water soluble vitamins will be lost. Have you thought that if we don’t close the lid of the vessel while cooking , the nutrients will escape into the air? There are a lot of small but not so small tips and informations in the book. I have never given much thought into the varieties of dishes that we can make from pumpkin, till I read the book. I have never thought that salads can be the most tasty item we can have.

What I liked the most is that unlike several diet books, this one says that you can indulge in whatever food you like. The book as such is an information blast. Beyond the dietary content, the book tells us about the effect of Each recipe in our mental development.
Each recipe is unique and I would recommend everyone to read this wonderful book.
