Thinking from the
heart, absurd as it may seem, is an experience we all need to go through.
Thinking and creating from the heart will only make you unite and embrace with
emotion, without any illusions, doubts, analysis, ego or judgment. It is higher
than logic or reason and will enunciate the mind to transcend beyond its
thought processes. Meaning, if we separate the heart from the mind, or allow
one to rule, it is bound to oppose the other, leading to pain and conflict.
Imagine how constricted our thoughts would be, if the heart was not there to
loosen them and bring flexibility. Mind, on the other hand, is mischievous; it
not only wishes to dictate to the heart, but tortures and rules our life. We
become lonely in our minds with thoughts of self – I, me and mine. The mind
controls when we should be happy or sad; it even orders the heart, how and when
to express or suppress our emotions. Both cannot be left on their own, say
heart on its own will only fantasize into emotions, hopes and dreams. To
counter, and bring them back into oneness or totality, we need to learn the art
of being in the awareness of now, through intuition and impulses, beyond
thoughts. It is the amalgamation of the two, which leads us back to our source,
the oneness in which we are born to live. This book will reveal to you, not
only how to love and think, with heart and mind togetherness, but also to go
beyond these two into the realm of oneness, awareness and infinity.

What to read
Author explains the five
consciousness- Body, Mind, Experiential, Store and Witness consciousness.
Author advocates the importance of tantra in achieving the desired
result. One should not assort to shortcuts like transcendental meditation,
which could be misleading.
He warns that we should
not live life by renouncing, suppressing, and controlling. We should gain
awareness instead. What kind of awareness, and how attain? You should read the
book to know it. Thus we could distinguish between reality and truth. This
awareness is the fourth dimension. To attain this one should get rid of duality
and if we attain it, we gets moksha. The book takes us through knowledge
journey about spontaneity of now, spirituality and sentimentality, and the
power of zero.
 My Review
Unlike
the first book, Gian Kumar brings a clear picture of how to apply spirituality
to the real life. The reader could relate more with his/her life and think
about ‘How can I apply this in my life?’ The chapters are all well crafted
without unnecessary lag. Author tries to make sure that he is upto the point
and at the same time made sure that the reader is thorough about the ideas he
tried to convey, by the time they complete the book. The chapter, which stole my
heart is the Power of Zero. I read it several times and liked it more and more
each time.
This is
book is more an analysis of eastern philosophies. Or I would say, in this book
author explicitly says that he is talking the contexts of the same. By eastern
philosophy, he is referring to Hindu philosophy even though there are some reference
to the ideology of Buddha. I liked this book more than the first one but one
should read the first book to have a greater understanding of this book. Author
has tried to give a sneak peek into the first book through the first chapter
but I would recommend reading the first one before trying to read this. The
editing team did a plausible job. Book cover is simple without unnecessary artwork
or crowding, which is demanded by the topic handled.
I could
not comprehend the relevance of the title in this book but hopefully after
reading the third one, I would have a better picture.

Sneak Peek
“What we call Zero or nothing is the source of
everything.”
“If we are
raised to the power of zero, shunya, or nothingness, we become one- unity or
oneness”
“Absolute truth
which is changeless, limitless, and timeless can only be experienced and realized.”
One Liner

A book which leads us to the route to the awareness and
finally to reality.

About the Author( in his words)

BORN IN BURMA TO A RELIGIOUS HINDU FAMILY, MY LIFE BEGAN AS A
PARADOX. I WENT ON TO STUDY IN A BOARDING SCHOOL WHICH OBSERVED STRICT
CHRISTIAN PRACTICES. DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSITE WERE THE HINDU TRADITIONS AND
CUSTOMS WHICH BECAME THE NORM ONCE I WAS HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. BEING A
THINKER, THE INHERENT CONFUSION AND DOGMAS UNDERLYING RELIGION DROVE ME FURTHER
AWAY FROM MY FORMER BELIEFS TOWARDS SPIRITUALITY. I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS
JOURNEY FILLED WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT ‘WHO AM I, WHAT IS MY PURPOSE
IN LIFE AND IS GOD AN ILLUSION’ AND HOPE TO IMPART AS MUCH OF MY EXPERIENTIAL
LEARNING TO YOU THROUGH MY BOOKS.
